Why we are building this

Growing up in India, we watched everyday digital life depend on products designed elsewhere — feeds, messaging, discovery, and community tools shaped for other markets, then adapted for ours. That gap is real: languages, cities, festivals, neighbourhood commerce, and civic conversation deserve a platform engineered here, for here.

Namaste Indian is our answer as engineers and citizens. We are building an indigenous, Make in India social layer — owned, designed, and shipped with Indian context as a first-class requirement, not a localisation afterthought. Digital self-reliance is not a slogan for us; it is the product brief: transparent systems, constitutional values, and software that can stand on Indian soil.
